Through with Part One

Well, that was certainly vexing, trying to get through that section.  I hope the next two sections (which are thankfully much smaller) will be much easier to finish.  It's not that it's a bad book as far as the writing goes - Woolf has some wonderful prose - it's just that the book is so boring (as I might have mentioned once or twice already).  Absolutely nothing ever happens, and that does make for good reading to me.  Does it to you?  I think not.
